Detailed intra oral examination reveals the preoperative intraoral view showing fracture of lateral incisor at the cervical portion of the tooth leaving the root piece inside with poor prognosis.
This image represents the preoperative radiographic view. It shows that the fractured lateral incisor was root canal treated previously, is periodontally compromised, has periapical lesion causing poor prognosis.
Hence the tooth was extracted followed by immediate flapless implant placement making the treatment less traumatic ,least painful and quick.
Post operative radiographic view are always useful for general evaluation. This immediate post operative radiographic view shows full length utilization of the available bone . Compression is achieved in the cancellous bone and high initial stability of the implant is achieved by engaging the nasal cortical bone.
After the implant placement impression was been made using addition silicone impression material , giving proper attention to minor details. The following image shows final zirconia crown placed insitu with adequate soft tissue healing around the implant with creation of emergence profile for the prosthesis along with proper shade matching for good aesthetics .
Also required occlusal loading forces in relation to progressive masticatory forces on the final restoration were maintained.
After the hassle –free treatment the patient is very much delighted with his dental implant and the entire procedure of replacement of his broken tooth giving him back his pleasant smile.
